History

June 1966 Business founded.
The Company is founded as the Ariake Tokushu Suisan Hanbai .Co., Ltd., with a capital of JY500,000.
August 1978 Livestock extract production plant is established at Kosaza-cho in Kita-Matsuura-gun, Nagasaki.
February 1985 Local subsidiary, ARIAKE U.S.A., Inc., is established as an overseas base in the State of California, within the United States of America.
April 1990 The Company acquires and merges with Ariake Shokuhin Kako Co., Ltd., before changing the trade name to Ariake Japan Co., Ltd.
October 1991 Company stocks are registered as over the counter shares for trading with the Japan Securities Dealers Association.
December 1994 Local subsidiary, Qingdao Ariake Foodstuff Co., Ltd., is established as an overseas base in Jiaonan, City of Qingdao, within the Peoplefs Republic of China.
September 1995 The Company is listed on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
June 1998 Headquarters is relocated to 3-2-17 Ebisu-Minami, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, where the new head office building has been completed.
Second Kyushu Plant is established at Kosaza-cho in Kita-Matsuura-gun, Nagasaki with a total construction cost of JY7.5 billion.
November 2000 Central Research Laboratory R&D Center is established at Kosaza-cho in Kita-Matsuura-gun, Nagasaki.
June 2001 Companyfs quality management system is certified as compliant with the international standard for quality management, ISO 9001.
March 2002 The Company is listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange
May 2002 Companyfs manufacturing system is certified as compliant with the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point).
September 2002 Rated A-" (Single A Minus) by the Japan Credit Rating Agency (JCR).
March 2003 Local subsidiary, F.P. Natural Ingredients (SAS), is established in France.
January 2004 Local subsidiary, F.P.N.I. Belgium (N.V.), is established in Belgium.
February 2005 Companyfs environment management system is certified as compliant with the international standard, ISO 14001, for environmental management.
June 2006 Company acquires Taiwan Tosachi Foodstuff Co., Ltd.
September 2006 Dear.SOUP Co., Ltd. is established.
